Clyde McKinney

Clyde co-founded the business in 1969 with his brother Raymond. He married Dorothy (Dot) in 1947…and is "Daddy" to Randy, Steve, and Phyllis. Clyde retired in 1988 to enjoy the outdoors: hunting, fishing, and farming and spending time with his grandchildren and three great-grandsons!

Raymond Sam McKinney

Raymond co-founded the business in 1969 with his brother Clyde. He married Ruby Smathers in 1958… and is Rhonda, Robin, and Ramona’s dad and Colonel’s father-in-law. Semi-retired since 1996, Raymond was an "original" member of the Kingsmen Quartet and still sings gospel music with the Land of the Sky Boys. He enjoys his four grandkids, time at the lake, and breakfast!

Randy McKinney

Becoming co-owner in 1996, Randy worked his way up from warehouseman in 1973 to "Big Cheese" in only 25 years! He married Kaye in 1980 and currently oversees the daily operations and outside sales of the business. Randy loves golf, running, hunting, and time off!

Colonel Shuford

Colonel is married to Ramona, Raymond’s youngest daughter, and they have two children: Jacob and Summer. He joined McKinney Welding in 1993. He repairs torches, regulators, and mig guns as well as inside sales, shipping, receiving, etc. Colonel is an accomplished drummer, playing with the band "45 Cherry" and also spends free time weight lifting and playing golf.

Jeorgann Clontz

Jeorgann came to McKinney Welding in 1995 as office manager after stints with BASF, Yeargin, and IMOCO. Overseeing most everything that goes on, she’s "the real Boss" and "the straw that stirs the drink"! She and her daughter Alex like Charleston and the beach.

Rhonda (McKinney) Syfrett

Rhonda has been with the company since 1977. She is the daughter of Raymond McKinney. She performs the secretarial jobs in the office. She is married to Gary Syfrett and they have one son, Scott. She enjoys time with her family.

Steve McKinney

Randy’s brother, after 18 years with Gerber Products, came to work in the family business in 1999 as a jack-of-all-trades. You'll find him on the Gas Delivery truck 5 days a week. With two children and three grandchildren, Steve spends his free time hunting, fishing, golfing, and eating.

Eric McKinney

Eric is ?’s nephew and ?’s cousin… you figure it out! He’s "the man in the truck" having handled outside route sales since 1986. Married to Amy in 1996, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, the beach, and daughter, Autumn and is a great cook.

Mike Crook

...back home, Mike and Randy grew up together since the 5th grade. Mike worked for the McKinneys from 1974 through 1984, and in 2005 came back to work with the business. Mike married Annette in 2001, he has one daughter, April, and he and Annette share 2 grandkids. Mike likes Pepsi and hunting in Canada.
